About The Position

Seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Bismarck, ND. This role is for supplemental coverage in an outpatient setting, with a need for clinical duties and call. The coverage period is from June 26, 2026, ongoing. The schedule includes weekday shifts from 8a-4p, Monday-Friday, with night and weekend call responsibilities. Patient volume varies, typically 10-15 patients per 8-hour shift. A wide range of interventional radiology procedures are expected, including diagnostic vascular intervention, angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic and embolization therapy, vascular access devices, IVC filters, TIPS, aspiration/drainages, needle biopsies, extractions, abscess drainage, thora/paracentesis, myelography, blood patch, pain management, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram, vertebroplasty, chest tube insertions, gastrostomy tube insertion, nephrostomy, renal fistulograms, and cryoablation. The facility uses Epic EMR.

Requirements

• Active ND License or IMLC
• Board Certified (BC)
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Clean Record

Responsibilities

• Perform Diagnostic Vascular Intervention
• Perform Angiography, Angioplasty, Stenting
• Perform Thrombolytic and Embolization Therapy
• Perform Vascular Access Devices, C-Lines, Cath Insertions
• Perform IVC Filters, TIPS, Aspiration/Drainages
• Perform Needle Biopsies, Extractions, Abscess Drainage
• Perform Thora/Paracentesis, Myelography, Blood Patch
• Perform Pain Mgmt, Perc Transhepatic Choleangiogram
• Perform Vertebroplasty, Chest Tube insertions
• Perform Gastrotomy Tube Insertion, Nephrostomy
• Perform Renal Fistulograms, Cryoablation
• Provide clinical coverage
• Provide on-call coverage
