About The Position

RP Valley is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist for an independent contractor role in Phoenix, Arizona. The position offers flexible shifts and scheduling options, a minimal monthly shift commitment, competitive compensation, and work in a collaborative, high-volume practice with strong clinical support and advanced technology. The majority of the work is in interventional radiology. The role does not include mammography, nuclear medicine, or musculoskeletal imaging responsibilities. Facilities include state-of-the-art technology and advanced imaging capabilities. RP Valley is a subspecialized group of more than 30 radiologists with a history dating back to 1961. It provides services at three Banner Medical hospitals in the Phoenix area, including designated stroke centers and a Level 1 trauma center, and at 11 outpatient imaging centers. The practice describes its culture as promoting compassion and collegiality. Phoenix offers year-round sun, desert landscapes, resorts, golf, urban amenities, Southwestern culture, and outdoor activities. The salary range is $400,000–$525,000. Final compensation may vary based on factors including education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. Requirements

Arizona licensure.
Board certification by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology, or board certification in diagnostic radiology.
Fellowship training in interventional radiology.
Strong procedural skills and expertise in performing a wide range of interventional procedures.
BLS and ACLS.
DEA.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, with the majority of work focused in interventional radiology.
Provide radiology services in a collaborative, high-volume practice with clinical support.
