About The Position

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, New York, as an independent contractor. This part-time/per-diem role offers an hourly rate of $350–$400 and flexible scheduling. The physician will perform interventional procedures and diagnostic imaging, work with referring physicians, and contribute to patient outcomes through advanced interventional care. The role offers a collaborative environment and a diverse case load.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Active New York State medical license.
Board certified or board eligible.
Significant experience in interventional radiography, including catheterization procedures in sterile environments.
Proficiency with CT, nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, and interventional techniques.
Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent communication with referring physicians and staff.
Commitment to aseptic technique and patient safety.

Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures, including catheterizations and image-guided interventions.
Use CT, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology imaging techniques to guide procedures.
Follow sterile-environment protocols and aseptic techniques.
Interpret imaging studies and provide diagnostic reports.
Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate interventional approaches.
Document care accurately and use CPT coding knowledge for billing purposes.
Maintain current knowledge of advances in interventional radiology techniques.
