About The Position

Impact Recruiting Solutions is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join a multi-specialty practice in the Bronx, New York, as an independent contractor. This part-time/per-diem position offers an hourly rate of $350–$400 and flexible scheduling. The radiologist will perform interventional procedures and diagnostic imaging, work with referring physicians, and contribute to patient care in a collaborative practice setting.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active New York State Medical License.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.
• Significant experience in interventional radiography, including catheterization procedures in sterile environments.
• Proficiency with CT, nuclear medicine, diagnostic radiology, and interventional techniques.
• Familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication with referring physicians and staff.
• Commitment to aseptic technique and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures, including catheterizations and image-guided interventions.
• Use CT, nuclear medicine, and diagnostic radiology imaging to guide procedures.
• Follow sterile-environment protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Interpret imaging studies and provide diagnostic reports.
• Collaborate with referring physicians to determine appropriate interventional approaches.
• Maintain accurate documentation and use familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes.
• Keep up to date with advances in interventional radiology techniques.
