About The Position

Bayview Cardiovascular Associates is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist with advanced training and experience in complex coronary and peripheral interventions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, expanding cardiology group. Please note: this position does not include structural heart interventions. Our practice includes 11 cardiologists and 5 advanced practice providers, serving the Coastal Virginia region from three office locations and performing procedures at two hospitals with interventional catheterization labs. For over 40 years, Bayview has been a leader in cardiovascular care across the Tidewater area. Our team provides comprehensive services in Acute coronary care and cardiac catheterization, Complex high-risk interventions (CHIP), including chronic total occlusions and mechanical circulatory support, Peripheral vascular interventions, Coronary CT angiography, Nuclear cardiology, Women’s cardiovascular health, Heart failure management, and Electrophysiology, including leadless pacemakers, device implantation, and arrhythmia ablations.

Requirements

• Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist
• Advanced training and experience in complex coronary and peripheral interventions

Nice To Haves

• Experience in structural heart interventions is not included in this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide services in Chesapeake, Suffolk, Norfolk, Virginia Beach
• Perform complex coronary and peripheral interventions
• Provide comprehensive services in acute coronary care and cardiac catheterization
• Perform complex high-risk interventions (CHIP), including chronic total occlusions and mechanical circulatory support
• Perform peripheral vascular interventions
• Provide services in Coronary CT angiography
• Provide services in Nuclear cardiology
• Provide services in Women’s cardiovascular health
• Provide services in Heart failure management
• Provide services in Electrophysiology, including leadless pacemakers, device implantation, and arrhythmia ablations
