About The Position
Harlingen Medical Center offers advanced cardiovascular services and continues to invest in cardiac care technology and program development to meet growing community needs. Harlingen Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join an established cardiology program. This role offers strong interventional volume and dedicated cath lab support.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Eligible for or active Texas medical license
- DEA license or eligibility
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional cardiology procedures including cardiac catheterizations and coronary interventions
- Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care
- Collaborate with cardiology, emergency medicine, and hospitalist teams
- Participate in STEMI call coverage as required
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with quality and regulatory standards
