About The Position
Centinela Hospital Medical Center provides essential cardiovascular services to a diverse community, offering a supportive and collaborative clinical environment. Centinela Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our cardiovascular team. This role offers a broad scope of practice with a focus on general interventional procedures in a community hospital setting.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
- Eligible for California medical licensure
- Training and competency in interventional procedures
- Strong clinical and teamwork skills
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures (e.g., cardiac catheterization, PCI)
- Manage patients with coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular conditions
- Provide inpatient consults and outpatient follow-up care
- Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, and cardiology colleagues
- Participate in shared call coverage
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation
