About The Position
We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Rosenburg, Oregon. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, with a focus on clinical duties and 24-hour STEMI call coverage. The coverage period is from August 10, 2026, ongoing, with specific dates in August and September 2026. The position requires managing adult patients, performing various interventional cardiology procedures, and interpreting diagnostic tests. The facility utilizes the Meditech EMR system with a PatientKeeper interface, and comprehensive specialty backup and support staff are available.
Requirements
- Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Active Oregon license
- Active DEA certification
- BLS, ACLS, DEA certifications
- Completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship
- Clean malpractice record
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional cardiology services including PCI, diagnostic catheterizations, right/left heart catheterizations.
- Perform and interpret echocardiograms and stress tests.
- Cover STEMI call with 24-hour shift responsibility.
- Manage and round on personal patients until sign-off.
- Provide inpatient consults and perform coronary angiograms (2-6 per day).
