Interventional Cardiologist
About The Position
We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a Locum Tenens position in Rosenburg, Oregon. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, with 24-hour call coverage required. The coverage period is from July 9, 2026, ongoing, with specific dates in July, August, and September 2026. The physician will be responsible for STEMI coverage, performing interventional procedures such as PCI and diagnostic catheterizations, interpreting echocardiograms and stress tests, rounding on own patients, and conducting clinic visits. Admissions are handled by Hospitalists. The facility utilizes the Meditech EMR system with a Patient Keeper Interface, and specialty backup from Cardiology, Anesthesia, and Hospitalists is available. Support staff includes 1 MA, 1 NP, and a fully staffed office.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Active Oregon license
- Active DEA
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Completion of Interventional Cardiology fellowship/residency
- Clean malpractice history
- Self-Query NPDB report (dated within 30 days) required at presentation

Responsibilities
- Provide Interventional Cardiology coverage including 24-hour call and STEMI call.
- Perform interventional procedures: PCI, diagnostic catheterizations, right/left heart catheterizations.
- Interpret echocardiograms and stress tests.
- Round on own patients until sign-off.
- Conduct clinic patient visits (14-16 patients/day) and inpatient consultations.
