About The Position

The Intervention Coordinator works in Academic Affairs at Community College Preparatory Academy (CCPrep), coordinating targeted academic interventions so students who need additional time, practice, or a different approach receive support early and consistently. The role translates assessment and attendance signals into practical support that helps learners continue progressing. CCPrep serves adults who are under-credited or have aged out of traditional K–12 pathways, preparing them for employment, postsecondary education, industry credentials, and lifelong learning. The coordinator develops intervention schedules and criteria, provides or coordinates individualized and small-group support, collaborates on learner plans, monitors outcomes, and adjusts supports based on evidence. The role also helps strengthen staff practice through coaching, modeling, feedback, resources, and improvement work. It has no standing direct reports, but provides functional leadership to instructors and student-support staff implementing intervention plans and may coordinate assigned tutors or temporary personnel. The position is full-time and exempt, campus based in Washington, DC, and reports to the Director of Academics and Training. The annual salary band is $67,560–$97,560. Work is primarily campus and office based and involves regular computer use and interaction with students, staff, vendors, or community partners. Some evening, weekend, or off-site work may be required. Essential duties must be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
