This is an internship teacher position for the Discovery Club/Access 21 Stand Alone Program. The role involves planning and teaching an Internship and Career Development class for summer interns. The teacher will use appropriate practices, including tiered instruction and scaffolds, to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs, incorporating Social and Emotional learning practices. The position requires developing students' interpersonal, group, and communication skills, enforcing standards for student work, effort, and behavior, and supervising up to 20 students. The teacher will also be responsible for completing and submitting Pre and Post Surveys of Academic and Youth Outcomes (SAYO) for each student, maintaining enrollment and attendance records, and fulfilling other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or designees.
