About The Position

Be part of a newly developed, exciting Channel team who will support the strategic growth of ECOM and 3rd party. The Channel merchandising team work across all Hunkemöller own websites plus our wholesale, concession and marketplace models. We are also responsible for merchandising our outlet retail stores. You will learn to work in a fast-paced work environment, where you will support the merchandising team on ad hoc analysis.

Requirements

  • You are passionate about optimising sales and profit through effective stock planning across our e-commerce platforms and 3rd party partners
  • You are comfortable with analysing large data sets; strong Excel skills are a great advantage for this role.
  • You’ve finished the first few semesters of your HBO/Bachelor/Master studies (ideally Business studies, Mathematics or similar) and still enrolled students for the time of the internship.
  • You are familiar with Excel, are eager to always improve your skills here.
  • Your way of working can be described as proactive and organized, and you know or want to learn how to plan well and set priorities.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You are able to work at least 32h/week on internship responsibilities (no school assignments or thesis writing).
  • Available for 5 months starting in September 2026.
  • Must be enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship.
  • Must be an EU citizen, on a Family/Partner visa, or a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands and meet specific curriculum or university agreement requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Run the data and analysis required to review sales performance on each of our channels
  • Support the planner to help ensure optimal stock position across all channels
  • Helping the channel team in monitoring and rebalancing width and depth of options on Hunkemöller website
  • Evaluate e-commerce sales performance and stock position, implementing any required improvement measures
  • Regularly review the Hunkemoller website, checking new products and the shopping experience to ensure we are delivering the best to our customer
  • Help pull together analysis on size performance across channels and countries to identify e-commerce biases and optimize sales potential
  • Reviewing data on slow-moving inventory, to support channel team with effective terminal strategies
