Internship in Youth Ministry Leadership

Young Life•Colorado Springs, CO

About The Position

Young Life Military is seeking interns who want to serve young people and grow in their Christian faith. Interns are accepted through Young Life and work with an experienced Young Life Military/Club Beyond staff member, who provides direction and training. Opportunities are available in the United States or Europe, near the community where the intern will conduct ministry. Interns support activities such as camps, clubs, Bible studies, and spending time with teens while modeling a personal example of Jesus Christ. Interns help lead and oversee Club Beyond, an ecumenically focused, outreach-oriented ministry serving military teens. The ministry aims to provide a safe, Christ-centered community where teens can build friendships, hope, and resiliency, through relational, incarnational ministry. The internship is paid, but each applicant is responsible for raising the salary needed to participate; the required amount ranges from $1,160 to $4,000 depending on location and the number of weeks served.
