The internship runs from August 31st to December 18th, 2026, and is based at our Mirabel location, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site. As an intern, you will report to the Technical Supervisor and be responsible for performing varied and complex tasks in the manufacturing and testing of aeronautical engines. This includes providing technical and operational support to the assembly line and customers, and adapting new procedures, tools, materials, and/or equipment to meet required specifications.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in Aerospace, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, writes, and develops instructions using eCATES.
  • Defines the assembly process, tooling, and test equipment necessary to assemble modules and engines conforming to P&WC quality and engineering standards.
  • Interprets complex drawings, documents, and engineering specifications.
  • Maintains a close relationship with engineering in regards to test instruction creation.
  • Supports production through the improvement of assembly procedures and production readiness.
  • Supports production in the maintenance and improvement of test instructions.
  • The first point of contact for the creation of temporary assemblies and test procedures during an investigation.
  • Leads or participates in a quality clinic to assure the maintenance of key performance indicators.
