The intern is responsible for supporting the team in all activities and projects to enhance efficiency and provide tools to boost the group's productivity. They contribute to their team or department by applying their knowledge across various functional areas. In collaboration with P&W's supply chain technical team, the student will be responsible for developing the standard operating procedures for the main process to facilitate online training for this group. Additionally, the student will be tasked with creating/developing a standard Excel tool to track project progress and automatically monitor departmental business results (KPIs). The student will coordinate/facilitate meetings with various groups as needed to resolve issues/find solutions. The student will participate in integrated team meetings to ensure progress on various projects.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Good English and French skills (spoken/written).
  • Requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
  • The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods. Employment is conditional upon the successful completion of these checks and obtaining the required clearances. Failure to do so will result in the withdrawal of the employment offer.
