The MTE organization is seeking a dynamic, creative, and organized individual who is eager to contribute to achieving and sustaining business objectives, as well as improving the quality, safety, and performance of engines.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering, or in Operations Management, Production and Logistics.
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a large-scale project with new technologies integrating aspects of manufacturing in aeronautics.
  • Search through the database.
  • Go through performed metallographic analyses and others mechanical testing on cutting tools and machined parts.
  • Write technical reports on the results of the experiments performed during the research process.
  • Share your results & analysis during technical reviews.
