Under the process certification initiative, PWC is looking for a dynamic, creative and structured person willing to contribute in meeting the business objectives of the company for quality improvement, safety and engine performance. The mandate aims at coordinating PWC and suppliers stakeholders to sustain updated statistics in meeting targeted performance indicators. The selected intern will have to work with numerous PWC personnel (manufacturing analysts, suppliers, and quality engineers). Tasks related to problem resolution are also possible

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
  • Pursuing studies in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze multiple data from Manufacturing, Quality, Assembly and Engine testing.
  • Coordinate the flow of data between suppliers and P & WC, and follow up to achieve performance objectives including preparing the performance monthly reports
  • Develop and improve state of the art data collection/visualization tools
  • Participate and lead investigations to identify Root causes for the dimensional variations of parts their measurements and the running engine issues for different business units.
