This internship, scheduled from August 31st to December 18th, 2026, is an on-site position in Longueuil with flexible hours, Monday to Friday. The intern will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team, responsible for creating machining methods and drafting required technical documentation (Manufacturing operation sheet/instructions) for the development and manufacturing of experimental parts. The role also involves supporting these parts once in production and interacting with factory employees to ensure follow-up.

Requirements

  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
  • Pursuing studies in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • Working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues
  • Ability to complete a criminal background check and obtain any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects for the production and development of parts
  • Work in collaboration with the machinists and inspectors of the plant to perfect the methods and address the problems of the parts in development
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing workshop and external suppliers
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
