About The Position
A nursing home facility in Hackensack, New Jersey, is seeking an Internist or Nursing Home Physician to provide comprehensive medical care to residents. The role offers a competitive base salary, bonus potential, and flexible scheduling. Residents and fellows are welcome to apply. The position may be full-time or part-time, with a minimum commitment of three days per week. The provider may need to work in New York until the New Jersey location is established.
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Active New Jersey medical license.
- Valid New York State license and willingness to work in New York until the New Jersey location is established.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Proficiency in geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, and electronic health records.
- Excellent bedside manner and strong communication skills.
- Empathy and ability to work effectively with elderly patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to nursing home residents.
- Work as part of a dedicated healthcare team in a specialized geriatric care setting.
