Internet Scanning Product Owner (Attack Surface)

We are seeking an Internet Scanning Product Owner to oversee the development and enhancement of our global internet scanning product. This role is crucial in understanding the customer experience and executing potential future requirements. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in understanding how threat actors exploit software vulnerabilities, a deep understanding of common internet infrastructure, and the ability to work closely with engineering teams. Additionally, they should be knowledgeable about the most recent vulnerabilities and exploits, have a background in vulnerability/misconfiguration/bug bounty, and be familiar with internet-wide scanning tools. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining product goals and metrics, translating business goals into product strategies, managing the product roadmap, and translating analytics and user feedback into actionable plans. Preferred experience includes knowledge of the third-party risk ecosystem.

• Oversee the development and improvement of the global internet scanning product
• Understand the customer experience to determine and execute potential future requirements

• Familiarity with common Internet infrastructure including DNS, WHOIS, and load balancing technologies
• Work closely with engineering teams
• Stay updated on the most recent vulnerabilities and exploits
• Have a vulnerability/misconfiguration/bug bounty background
• Lead asset mapping of corporations
• Familiarity with internet wide scanning tools and/or vendors
• Define and be accountable for product goals and metrics
• Translate business goals and end user needs into product strategies
• Support the product roadmap to meet business objectives and goals
• Create a backlog, write user stories, and manage releases
• Assist in creating collateral for sales demonstrations and customer events
• Create and maintain product roadmaps within assigned product areas
• Translate analytics, data, and user feedback into actionable product plans

7+ years of experience of understanding how threat actors exploit software vulnerabilities and misconfigurations

A deep understanding of common Internet infrastructure including DNS, WHOIS and load balancing technologies

Experience working closely with engineering teams

Be in the know about the most recent vulnerabilities and exploits

Have a vulnerability/misconfiguration/bug bounty background

Understand and lead asset mapping of corporations

Have familiarity with internet wide scanning tools and/or vendors

Define and be accountable for product goals and metrics

Translate business goals and end user needs into product strategies

Support the product road map to meet business objectives and goals

Create a backlog, write user stories, and manage releases
