Internet Sales Associate
About The Position
Customers are researching vehicles online, comparing prices, submitting inquiries, texting questions, and narrowing down their choices before they ever walk into a dealership. At Sunset Kia of Sarasota, we're looking for an Internet Sales Associate who wants to meet customers where they're already shopping: online. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sales, connecting with people, and using technology to turn online conversations into vehicle sales. And unlike many traditional retail or automotive sales positions, you won't have to give up every night and weekend to build a successful career.
Requirements
- Has experience in sales and/or customer service
- Enjoys communicating by phone, email, text, and in person
- Is comfortable working with computers and online tools
- Responds quickly and follows through consistently
- Can build rapport and establish trust
- Is motivated by goals and earning potential
- Has strong presentation and communication skills
- Is eager to learn and receptive to coaching
- Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor
- Has strong English communication skills
- Has a valid driver's license
- Has a verifiable work history

Responsibilities
- Respond to customers through internet leads, email, chat, text, and phone
- Follow up with online shoppers and help move them from browsing to buying
- Ask the right questions to understand what each customer wants and needs
- Help customers identify the right new or pre-owned vehicle
- Schedule appointments and prepare customers for their dealership visit
- Demonstrate vehicles, technology, features, and options
- Guide customers through pricing and vehicle purchase decisions
- Build relationships that create repeat and referral business
- Maintain strong knowledge of our vehicles, features, and accessories
- Participate in dealership-provided product and sales training
