About The Position

McColm & Company is building a talent pool of project personnel and subject matter expert consultants for multiple positions supporting international monitoring, evaluation, and data work. Engagement type varies by project and may be full-time employment, part-time employment, or consultancy as a 1099 independent contractor. Onsite, hybrid, and remote options are available. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and joining the pool does not guarantee an engagement; candidates will be contacted when an assignment matches their expertise to discuss the role, level of effort, and availability. McColm is a mission-driven professional services firm supporting U.S. federal customers in foreign affairs, international development, human services, and national security. Its Justice and Resilience Practice supports clients seeking effective outcomes from international technical assistance projects addressing labor rights, trade, and global supply chains, including efforts to combat child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking. Candidates are sought at all career levels, including senior evaluators and program leaders, sector and country specialists, data analysts, and visualization experts. Individuals with lived experience of forced labor, child labor, or human trafficking are encouraged to apply; such experience may be considered in place of some formal education or professional experience. Duties vary by project and role. Potential assignments include project management, evaluation leadership, sector and country expertise, rapid evaluation and political economy analysis, data analysis, data visualization, facilitation and training, editing, and accessibility support. Some roles may require travel. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or otherwise authorized to work in the United States and fluent in written and spoken English. Prior experience supporting U.S. Government clients is highly desirable. Applicants are asked to indicate the role types they seek, technical and sector expertise, countries or regions where they have worked, languages and proficiency, and whether they seek full-time, part-time, or consulting work. Compensation depends on job requirements, market dynamics, and the successful candidate’s experience and skills. Full-time employees are eligible for McColm’s standard benefits package; contract and consultant roles are not eligible for benefits.
