The International Criminal Justice Initiative (ICJI) at Georgetown University Law Center is seeking an entry-level legal professional with demonstrated interest in international criminal law for its 2026-2027 International Criminal Justice Fellowship position. ICJI is dedicated to building a more effective and efficient global system of criminal accountability for atrocity crimes. The International Criminal Justice Fellow is a full-time position dedicated to supporting the ICJI’s Atrocity Crimes Advisory Group for Ukraine (ACA) project. The ACA project is a joint initiative between the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States governments in partnership with the Ukrainian government. ACA works with Ukraine’s Office of the Prosecutor General (OPG) to advance accountability for crimes committed during the conflict with Russia through provision of expert advice, assistance, and training in the documentation, investigation, and prosecution of atrocity crimes. The Fellow will be responsible for conducting research; drafting research memos, reports, and external communications; helping coordinate and organize study visits, conferences, and other meetings; supervising and providing assistance to student Research Assistants (RAs); and otherwise assisting the operational and administrative functions of ACA.
