About The Position

Learning Objectives: Through hands-on observation, project support, on-set exposure, and meetings with department leaders, the intern/fellow will develop a broad understanding of how cross-functional teams collaborate to develop, produce, deliver, and support non-scripted programming. Responsibilities Gain broad exposure to the television production business and production lifecycle, including development, pre-production, production, post-production, delivery, related business operations, workflows, and cross-functional collaboration, with a particular focus on non-scripted production. Shadow team members in office and on-set environments to observe day-to-day operations, production protocols, communication flow, and collaboration across departments. Support production office operations through general coordination, scheduling support, research, tracking, follow-up, and organization of relevant materials or production documents. Assist with administrative, logistical, and project-based tasks connected to active productions, shoots, events, department needs, or business initiatives. Balance internship responsibilities with time devoted to the Fellowship capstone project and other summer internship program activities.

Requirements

  • College student seeking a degree in television programming.
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail: data and formatting.
  • Research skilled and data driven.
  • Ability to prioritize simultaneous projects under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and with little supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to changing workflows.
