About The Position

The Internal Sales Consultant (ISC) is part of a team that includes a wholesaler and relationship manager, working to educate financial advisors about retirement plans—particularly 401(k) plans—and help them add John Hancock retirement solutions to their product offerings. The ISC identifies advisor needs and offers solutions aligned with the interests of company decision makers, financial advisors, and John Hancock. Working with a Regional Vice President, the ISC proactively manages and cultivates an assigned territory primarily through telephone, email, and web activity. The role uses discretion and judgment to provide registered representatives with territory insights, practice-management ideas, and marketing support. The ISC helps advisors understand retirement products and industry developments, compare plan and investment options, and determine appropriate solutions for their clients. The role also supports plan design, sold-case paperwork, plan onboarding, advisor business growth, and department initiatives. This is an existing vacancy based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a hybrid working arrangement. The position offers a salary range of $42,000–$70,000 USD, with potential incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. Eligible employees may participate in customizable benefits and retirement savings programs.
