About The Position
Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an Internal Medicine Primary Care Physician to join their growing team in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. This position is part of LVPG, which employs over 2,000 primary care and specialty physicians and over 800 advanced practice clinicians. The specific practice is located at Alliance Drive and includes 3 Physicians, 2 APCs, 6 MAs, and 1 clinical coordinator. The office operates from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with call duties rotated among physicians and APCs. Patient visit durations vary, with longer slots for new patients, preventative care for those 45 and older, TOC, and medical clearances, and shorter slots for younger patients, return visits, and acute visits. Full-time is defined as 36 patient-facing hours. The internal medicine division is expanding, with over 20 practices and 100 clinicians. LVHN offers a supportive environment with flexible Monday-Friday schedules, nurse triage for call, and an onsite/remote care team to assist with in-basket tasks. Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Current Pennsylvania Medical License or the ability to obtain one.
