About The Position
Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking an Internal Medicine Primary Care Physician to join their growing team in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. This position is part of LVPG, which employs over 2,000 primary care and specialty physicians and over 800 advanced practice clinicians. The Alliance Dr. practice in Hazleton has 3 Physicians, 2 APCs, 6 MAs, and 1 clinical coordinator. The office hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with call rotated among physicians and APCs. Patient slot durations vary, with longer times for new patients, wellness/preventative visits for those 45 and older, TOC, and medical clearances, and shorter times for wellness/preventative under 45, return patients, and acute visits. Full-time is defined as 36 patient-facing hours. The internal medicine division is expanding with over 20 practices and 100 clinicians. Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Current Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain one.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered, progressive primary care.
- Manage patient care within the internal medicine division.
- Participate in call rotation.
- Support the growth of the internal medicine division.
- Engage in teaching, research, and physician leadership opportunities.
