National Wound Physician Group is hiring an Internal Medicine Physician to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility and typically visit two to three facilities per day, treating approximately 20–30 patients daily. The mobile practice serves facilities within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers a full-time schedule of four to five weekdays per week, generally Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.; part-time opportunities require a minimum commitment of three days per week. There are no night, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Physicians can learn wound management from wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors and use current wound care technologies and modalities. W2 physicians earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. The stated salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. This is a W2 employment position; work visa sponsorship is not available.
