About The Position

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician for a well-established outpatient practice in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. This is an employed opportunity within the UMass Community Medical Group, a division of UMass Memorial Medical Group. The position offers an office-based, independent, private practice-like setting with faculty appointments at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. Physicians will have the opportunity to teach medical students and residents. The practice features a well-established patient panel, uses EPIC EMR, and is outpatient only for adult primary care. There is a large call group with phone call only, 1:1 Medical Assistant support, an on-site office manager, and access to lab and X-ray services. An extensive network of local specialists is available, and flexible schedule options exist.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Current UMass Memorial Health caregiver (for internal applicants).
• Ability to obtain a UMass Medical School faculty appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult primary care in an outpatient setting.
