About The Position

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician for a well-established outpatient practice in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. This is an employed opportunity within the UMass Community Medical Group, a division of the UMass Memorial Medical Group. The position offers an office-based, independent, private practice-like setting in Central Massachusetts, with faculty appointments at the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School. The role involves teaching medical students and residents.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Current UMass Memorial Health caregiver (for internal applicants).
• Ability to obtain a UMass Medical School faculty appointment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with EPIC EMR.
• Experience in adult primary care.

Responsibilities

• Provide adult primary care in an outpatient setting.
• Teach medical students and residents.
• Manage a well-established patient panel.
• Participate in a large call group, with phone call only.
