About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated NP/PA to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established, stable and well-respected large medical group practice setting. Provide primary care, population health, and immediate care-type services to Unite Here union members (hospitality workers and their adult dependents). Practice setting: Outpatient. Busy Internal Medicine practice. See 10-20 patients per day on average. Nice mix of patients and cases. Pharmacy on site. Located in downtown Chicago. Great city location. A lot of autonomy. High quality service in one convenient location. Excellent office support staff.

Requirements

• Bilingual preferred (Spanish, Mandarin or Cantonese)
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
• Registered Nurse preferred.
• Masters Degree of Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care, population health, and immediate care-type services to Unite Here union members (hospitality workers and their adult dependents)
• Call structure: office call, rotated equally with the team
