Internal Medicine / Family Medicine Physician, Bay Area
About The Position
Blue Angel Clinical Partners partners with physician-led concierge primary care practices throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Our San Mateo office is growing—a physician will be joining an established doctor with a full panel and a waitlist, ensuring immediate access to engaged patients. Our model is straightforward: patients pay a membership fee, panels are intentionally small, and you spend meaningful, unrushed time with those in your care. Our physicians each manage 200–300 members, compared to several thousand in typical practices. This allows for longer visits, same-day access, enduring continuity, and no volume or RVU-based scheduling pressures.
Requirements
- MD or DO, board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active California medical license or a clear path to obtaining one
- Strong educational background from a US medical school and residency
- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term patient relationships and thrive in a small-panel, membership-based model
Nice To Haves
- 3–10 years post-residency preferred
- Concierge or direct primary care experience is a plus, not a requirement
Responsibilities
- Build and care for your own panel, starting with our existing waitlist and a strong referral base
- Deliver comprehensive, ongoing primary care: prevention, chronic disease management, acute concerns, and specialty care coordination
- Practice alongside an experienced physician who will support your onboarding and success in this model
- Retain clinical autonomy and flexibility in shaping your patient care approach
