About The Position

The Internal Maintenance Supervisor oversees all day-to-day tasks completed by department hourly Team Members, including, but not limited to training, scheduling section assignments, inventory and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Ability to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work.
  • Two (2) years Internal Maintenance supervisory experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid California Driver's License required.
  • Ability to perform job and remain vigilant in the event of an emergency.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of all cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints.
  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Ability to climb, bend, reach, walk, and stand for duration of the shift.
  • Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
  • Ability to operate forklift, utility cart and company vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
  • Conducting frequent inspections of all public areas and casino in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Completing inspection forms and reports as required.
  • Remaining involved with all hourly tasks during shift.
  • Assisting in training and cross training hourly Team Members regarding OSHA standards and regulations. Documenting and submitting records of such trainings to IM Manager.
  • Reporting facility problems and required preventive maintenance.
  • Assisting in preparing punch lists of assigned areas.
  • Determining times for deep cleaning in public and casino areas, and assigning duties to ensure completion.
  • Scheduling Team Members to assigned shift/sections to ensure all sections and areas are adequately covered.
  • Inventorying supplies and ensuring necessary items are ordered.
  • Maintaining a strict key and beeper control using proper written records as directed.
  • Ensuring all equipment is working properly.
  • Preparing necessary work orders and ensuring equipment is repaired and returned in a timely manner.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
