About The Position

The Internal Maintenance Supervisor oversees all day-to-day tasks completed by department hourly Team Members, including, but not limited to training, scheduling section assignments, inventory and equipment maintenance. This role is responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times. Key functions include conducting frequent inspections of all public areas and the casino to maintain high cleanliness standards, completing inspection forms and reports, and remaining involved with all hourly tasks during the shift. The supervisor assists in training and cross-training Team Members on OSHA standards and regulations, documents and submits training records, and reports facility problems and required preventive maintenance. Additionally, the position involves assisting in preparing punch lists for assigned areas, determining times for deep cleaning, assigning duties, scheduling Team Members to ensure adequate coverage, inventorying supplies, maintaining strict key and beeper control, ensuring equipment functionality, and preparing work orders for timely equipment repair.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  • Ability to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work.
  • Valid California Driver's License required.
  • Ability to perform job and remain vigilant in the event of an emergency.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of all cleaning procedures, equipment and supplies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years Internal Maintenance supervisory experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
  • Conduct frequent inspections of all public areas and casino in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Complete inspection forms and reports as required.
  • Remain involved with all hourly tasks during shift.
  • Assist in training and cross training hourly Team Members regarding OSHA standards and regulations.
  • Document and submit records of such trainings to IM Manager.
  • Report facility problems and required preventive maintenance.
  • Assist in preparing punch lists of assigned areas.
  • Determine times for deep cleaning in public and casino areas, and assign duties to ensure completion.
  • Schedule Team Members to assigned shift/sections to ensure all sections and areas are adequately covered.
  • Inventory supplies and ensure necessary items are ordered.
  • Maintain a strict key and beeper control using proper written records as directed.
  • Ensure all equipment is working properly.
  • Prepare necessary work orders and ensure equipment is repaired and returned in a timely manner.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
