About The Position
This position is available ONLY for current employees of the City of Springfield. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and improvements to Springfield’s existing street infrastructure. The maintenance of our streets involves asphalt repair, concrete construction and repair, chip-seals, and a variety of other work. This position will supervise one specific team in the Public Works Street Operations Division. We are currently looking to hire a supervisor for our Utility Cuts crew.
Requirements
- A minimum of four years of responsible experience in street maintenance or sewer operations, or equivalent, in the maintenance and repair of public infrastructure.
- One year in a crew leader or supervisory capacity.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Proof of United States Citizenship/Authorization to Work in the United States as established by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986 is a condition of employment.
- Must complete the City of Springfield on-line application in its entirety.
- Candidate profile must include all employment history with accurate and complete information prior to submission.
