About The Position

The IT Audit Intern assists the Internal Audit department in identifying and evaluating risk through assigned projects, executing work programs to assess the effectiveness of IT General Controls, and reporting results to company leaders. The Information Technology Audit group assesses automated and system controls and their underlying processes, supports Sarbanes-Oxley testing, and may participate in special projects requested by executive leadership and the Board of Directors. Audit work may cover logical and physical access, change management, and IT operations. The role develops skills in evaluating organizational risk and internal controls, collecting and analyzing information, maintaining audit documentation, interpreting test results, and using technology to improve assignment effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in a full-time Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Management Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, Computer Science, or Accounting with an emphasis in Internal Audit.
• Ability to communicate tactfully and courteously, with a mature and commonsense approach.
• General PC skills and ability to use Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Advanced Microsoft Office capabilities, such as Pivot Tables, complex data analysis, and graphics production.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with auditing systems.
• Experience with data analytics or data visualization.
