About The Position

The Family and Community Partnerships Intern I will play a key role in supporting the daily operations by assisting with student supervision, facilitating enrichment activities, and providing logistical and administrative support. Under the guidance of site leadership, the intern will help manage attendance, distribute materials, support teachers during lessons, and ensure a safe and engaging learning environment. This position offers hands-on experience in education and youth development while contributing to a meaningful learning experience for students.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be in the process of obtaining a undergraduate level degree in a relevant field
  • Relevant experience with children, education, or administrative duties

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of the Promising Scholars program and related initiatives.
  • Facilitate communications with schools, families, and community partners to foster engagement and program success.
  • Assist in designing and implementing student retention strategies, including efforts related to 3rd-grade retention.
  • Manage and update supply inventory, ensuring timely fulfillment of requests and coordinating distribution to schools and families.
  • Contribute to the development of program materials, presentations, and reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program staff to analyze data, track outcomes, and ensure alignment with grant and state legislative requirements.
  • Develop graphics and visuals to engage families and stakeholders through social media.
  • Create and schedule social media posts to highlight program successes and important updates.
