About The Position

SWBR is seeking interns for Summer 2027 to work alongside architects and designers as integral members of project teams. Interns will be assigned to a specific project and gain experience in one or more of the firm's design disciplines: architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, structural engineering, or civil/site engineering. Projects may include educational facilities, workplace and corporate interiors, housing, and other environments. The paid internships typically last eight weeks and take place between May and September. Interns will gain experience in a professional architecture, engineering, and landscape architecture firm and work with a multidisciplinary team. Depending on the studio, daily activities may include drafting, redlines, office organization, construction or client site visits, and software learning experiences. The internships require a 100% in-office commitment at a SWBR office. SWBR does not arrange or financially provide travel or housing for the duration of the internship. Portfolios are welcome. Hourly pay is $17–$19; actual offers depend on career interests, current year in school, and demonstrated skills.

Responsibilities
