About The Position

The Intern, Supply Chain Project Management will support the Supply Chain Project Management team in providing waterfront production support to current New Construction builds. They will monitor schedule and budget adherence, provide robust reporting to internal stakeholders, and apply project management principles to day-to-day activities. This position will require coordination cross-functionally within Supply Chain, Planning, and Engineering. This position is required to be fully on-site based at 2 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver.

Requirements

• Enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year in a undergraduate program
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with team members of different functions
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly language
• Proficiency with MS-Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Word)
• Self-motivated and able to work independently and able to manage time effectively

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of project management, supply chain, or engineering is desirable
• Competency with project tracking and forecasting tools is an asset (e.g. Kanban, Gantt, EVM)
• Experience with Power BI is considered a strong asset

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supply Chain Project Management team in monitoring schedule and executing project deliverables
• Provide data analytics and reports for subcontractor performance and material availability
• Prepare forecasts and determine high risk items for upcoming subcontractor work items
• Collaborate with procurement, warehousing, logistics, and operations on supply chain issues to support reaching project milestones
• Support risk mitigation efforts by flagging potential supply chain constraints and proposing contingency plans
• Perform additional duties as assigned
