About The Position

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a motivated Summer Intern to join the Real Estate Services team at their Houston Branch location. This internship offers a prestigious, cohort-based experience for paid, full-time summer interns. The program provides meaningful work, opportunities for growth, dedicated staff mentors, and broad exposure to central banking. Interns will build a professional network across the nation and gain access to senior leaders and industry experts. The program typically runs for 10-12 weeks, from mid-to-late May to August. The Real Estate Services team ensures a safe, reliable, and sustainable environment for employees, tenants, and guests. This role will contribute to the seamless functioning of the facility by providing comprehensive operational support and maintaining high service standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to operational excellence, with strong prioritization and stakeholder coordination skills.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple administrative and technical support functions simultaneously.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to work full-time for the duration of the internship (approximately 10-12 weeks, mid-to-late May to August).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience with Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS).
  • Experience with graphic design tools (traditional and AI-based).

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support at the Houston Branch.
  • Perform accurate data entry, data validation, and data analysis using Microsoft 365 and AI-enabled tools like Microsoft Copilot.
  • Streamline reporting and document creation.
  • Create, format, and enhance documents and presentations.
  • Process and track service requests in the Bank’s Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).
  • Organize drawing archives.
  • Conduct field measurements and gather site information.
  • Support graphic design tasks using traditional and AI-based tools.
  • Complete basic calculations.
  • Contribute to workflow improvements that strengthen real estate and facilities operations.
