About The Position

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas Internship Program is a prestigious, cohort-based experience that attracts top talent from across the country for paid, full-time summer internships spanning majors and functional areas – from economic research and finance to Cash Services, IT, and beyond. While interns take on a specific functional role for the summer with meaningful work and opportunities to grow, the program offers much more than a single assignment. Dedicated staff mentors help launch your career, and curated cohort programming provides broad exposure to central banking, direct access to senior leaders and industry experts, and dedicated learning and development opportunities. As part of the Federal Reserve System, you'll also build a professional network of peers that spans the nation. The program runs approximately for 10-12 weeks, beginning in mid-to-late May and concluding in August. For this specific position, you will be located in the Houston office. Real Estate Services provides a safe, reliable, and sustainable environment that enables employees, tenants, and guests to collaborate, learn, and work. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Houston Branch location. This role will contribute to the seamless functioning of our facility by providing comprehensive operational support and helping maintain our exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to operational excellence. Your ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate with multiple stakeholders will be essential in this role.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple administrative and technical support functions simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support at the Houston Branch.
  • Perform accurate data entry, data validation, and data analysis using Microsoft 365 and AI‑enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot to streamline reporting and document creation.
  • Create, format, and enhance documents and presentations.
  • Process and track service requests in the Bank’s Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).
  • Organize drawing archives.
  • Conduct field measurements and gather site information.
  • Support graphic design tasks using traditional and AI‑based tools.
  • Complete basic calculations.
  • Contribute to workflow improvements that strengthen real estate and facilities operations.
