About The Position

North Wind is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support the design, development, testing, and documentation of electrical equipment, control systems, and electromechanical components used in wind tunnel and hypersonic ground test facilities. Working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary project teams, the intern will gain practical experience developing custom equipment, supporting facility upgrades, and helping deliver engineering solutions that meet customer requirements. The position offers exposure to engineering design, system integration, and testing for wind tunnel and hypersonic ground test facilities. The intern may collaborate with engineering, procurement, production, and installation teams and may have opportunities to participate in design reviews or site visits. Some domestic or international travel may be required based on project needs. Through this internship, students can gain practical experience in electrical system design, industrial controls, instrumentation, engineering documentation, troubleshooting, and multidisciplinary project execution while contributing to North Wind's advanced engineering programs. All candidates must be eligible to work in the United States, and the position requires meeting applicable U.S. Person requirements due to project security requirements.
