About The Position

What you will do You will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Human Resources, with a particular focus on learning design, creation of e-learnings, and supporting the implementation of new technologies and ways of working within the HR function. This co-op role is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of HR practices and procedures while contributing to the effectiveness and efficiency of our HR department. We seek a motivated individual with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for people-oriented processes and technological innovation.

Requirements

  • Applicant must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies prior to the start of the internship.
  • Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Interns may work up to 30 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous internship or co-op experience in an HR environment or in learning design and development is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and developing engaging e-learning content, including creating training materials, modules, and resources that support employee development and organizational goals.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of e-learning platforms and systems, ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience for employees.
  • Assist in the creation and integration of new technologies and tools within the HR function, helping to streamline processes and enhance the overall HR function.
  • Help maintain positive employee relations by addressing inquiries, assisting with conflict resolution, and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Assist in ensuring HR policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Help maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Contribute to various HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and enhancing the employee experience.
  • Assist in maintaining HR databases and generating reports as needed for analysis and decision-making.
