About The Position
NISC is seeking an Operations Analytics Implementations Intern for Summer 2027 (May–August). The intern will report to a Team Lead and gain exposure to electrical distribution analysis, electrical-based software, operational tools, and Geographical Information Systems over the course of the summer. The role supports Project Managers and Implementers and assists with member project information and documentation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt effectively to change.
- Ability to interact positively with internal and external contacts.

Nice To Haves
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Basic understanding of power distribution systems.
Responsibilities
- Job shadow and assist Project Managers and Implementers.
- Assist in setting up member project information.
- Assist with member and internal documentation, ensuring consistency and format.
