About The Position

UDR, Inc. is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Property Management Interns to join our team for the Summer of 2026 (May – August). This full-time internship is at Domain College Park, a 255-unit apartment community in College Park, MD. The intern will gain hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of property management operations while contributing to a memorable resident experience.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled college students pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Hospitality Management, Business, and/or a related field.
  • Motivated, self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment and works collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes with ease.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • U.S. citizens or legal permanent resident.
  • Be in good academic standing and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for residents, prospects, guests, and visitors.
  • Provide a personalized experience with an emphasis on care and convenience.
  • Manage all sales activities from lead generation to lease signing to achieve maximum occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Generate new leads through local marketing and online advertising.
  • Facilitate the application and move-in process, ensuring all paperwork and payments are completed.
  • Foster positive resident relationships and ensure expectations are met.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to build the community's reputation and maximize lease renewals.
  • Manage the renewal process from notification to signing.
  • Respond to resident complaints and concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Assist with planning, promoting, and executing resident events and activities.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve resident happiness and service.
