About The Position

UDR, Inc. is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Property Management Interns to join our team for the Summer of 2026 (May – August). This full-time internship is at Domain College Park, a 255-unit apartment community in College Park, MD. The intern will gain hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of property management operations while contributing to a memorable resident experience.

Requirements

Currently enrolled college students pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Hospitality Management, Business, and/or a related field.
Motivated, self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment and works collaboratively in a team setting.
Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes with ease.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Possess strong customer service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
U.S. citizens or legal permanent resident.
Be in good academic standing and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for residents, prospects, guests, and visitors.
Provide a personalized experience with an emphasis on care and convenience.
Manage all sales activities from lead generation to lease signing to achieve maximum occupancy and revenue growth.
Generate new leads through local marketing and online advertising.
Facilitate the application and move-in process, ensuring all paperwork and payments are completed.
Foster positive resident relationships and ensure expectations are met.
Deliver exceptional customer service to build the community's reputation and maximize lease renewals.
Manage the renewal process from notification to signing.
Respond to resident complaints and concerns professionally and in a timely manner.
Assist with planning, promoting, and executing resident events and activities.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve resident happiness and service.
