About The Position

UDR, Inc. is seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Property Management Interns to join our team for the Summer of 2026 (May – August). This is a full-time internship opportunity at Domain College Park, a 255-unit apartment community located in College Park, MD. The internship is designed for driven college students with an interest in real estate or property management who are looking to gain hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of property management operations while contributing to a memorable resident experience.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled college students pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Hospitality Management, Business, and/or a related field.
  • Motivated, self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment and works collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes with ease.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Possess strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • U.S. citizens or legal permanent resident.
  • Be in good academic standing and have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact, greeting residents, prospects, guests, and visitors.
  • Provide personalized experiences with an emphasis on care and convenience for residents.
  • Manage all sales activities from lead generation to lease signing to achieve maximum occupancy and revenue growth.
  • Generate new leads through local community marketing and creative online advertising.
  • Facilitate the application and move-in process, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed, payments are made, and appointments are scheduled.
  • Foster positive ongoing relationships with residents by confirming their expectations are met.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to build and sustain the community’s reputation and ensure maximum lease renewals.
  • Orchestrate the renewal process from notification to signing.
  • Respond to resident complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with planning, promoting, and delivering resident events and activities.
  • Identify, share, and implement opportunities to improve resident happiness and service.
