About The Position

EquipmentShare is searching for a student intern to join the Team at our Home Office in Columbia, MO for the Spring of 2027. This role involves supporting the strategy, implementation, and management of the organization’s learning management system (LMS) and related platforms. The intern will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, configuration, and maintenance of the LMS and learning technologies, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience. A key aspect of the role is becoming an expert in the Docebo LMS to provide a stable and user-friendly learning environment. The position also involves assisting with learning analytics and reporting to provide insights into learning progress and effectiveness, collaborating with various departments to create custom reports, and leveraging data to improve learning programs. Compliance with internal policies and data privacy is also a responsibility. The intern will identify opportunities for system improvements and support the development and delivery of training programs for LMS users.

Requirements

• Must be actively working towards a BS degree (or seeking) in related field
• Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Knowledge of IT systems, learning management systems, and project management software.
• Ability to quickly learn technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Working knowledge of PC and Mac operating systems, iPhones, and iPads.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, and deliver and receive feedback in a team-oriented environment.
• Self-starter and highly motivated with a strong, positive work ethic that contributes to the vision of the department and the company as a whole.

Responsibilities

• Perform job duties in accordance with EquipmentShare’s vision, mission, and values.
• Be an active member of the L&D Department.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining professional working relationships with internal departments, branches, and field employees across the organization.
• Support the strategy, implementation, and management of the organization’s learning management system (LMS) and related platforms.
• Support the day-to-day operation, configuration, and maintenance of the LMS and related learning technologies.
• Ensure optimal functionality, availability, and performance of all learning platforms, resolving issues as they arise.
• Continuously assess and improve the usability and user experience of learning platforms to drive engagement and learner satisfaction.
• Become an expert and active user of the learning management system (Docebo) in order to provide a consistent, stable, well-built, and user-friendly learning environment.
• Assist in the development of learning analytics and reporting processes to provide actionable insights into learning progress, engagement, and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with L&D, Human Resources, and business leaders to create custom reports and dashboards that support decision-making, identify trends, and measure training impact.
• Leverage learning data to improve content offerings, learner engagement, and overall learning program effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements regarding learning data, learner privacy, and content delivery.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, enhancements, and new features that could enhance learning experiences.
• Support the development and delivery of training programs to ensure that employees, managers, and administrators can effectively use the LMS and other learning platforms.
