About The Position

Labcorp is seeking an IT Operations Intern to join our IT Operations Instrument Configuration team located in Indianapolis, IN! This is a 12-week paid internship program from May 24, 2027, to August 13, 2027. The IT Operations Instrument Configuration team is responsible for the successful deployment and onboarding of laboratory systems, PCs, and instrument controllers across our global laboratory network. The team collaborates with various departments including Cybersecurity, Networking, Architecture, Vendor Management, Testing Enablement, and business stakeholders to ensure the secure, compliant, and efficient implementation of laboratory technologies. As an intern, you will be immersed in hands-on work, gain exposure to Labcorp's global business, culture, and leadership through enterprise-wide learning experiences, leadership exposure, an in-person intern event, senior leader speaker sessions, professional development sessions, and connection to Labcorp's inclusive culture. You will also have dedicated mentoring connections to guide your growth.

Requirements

Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Business or Life Science.
Interest in chemistry, biology, or related lab sciences
Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures
Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts
Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision
Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Nice To Haves

Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply
