About The Position

Labcorp is seeking an IT Operations Intern to join our IT Operations Instrument Configuration team located in Indianapolis, IN! This is a 12-week paid internship designed for motivated students to work on impactful projects and gain real-world experience. The IT Operations Instrument Configuration team is responsible for the successful deployment and onboarding of laboratory systems, PCs, and instrument controllers across our global laboratory network. They coordinate and drive collaboration among Cybersecurity, Networking, Architecture, Vendor Management, Testing Enablement, and business stakeholders to ensure the effective implementation of laboratory technologies. The team ensures that all solutions are deployed securely, compliantly, and efficiently, enabling laboratory operations and supporting studies across our worldwide facilities. As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background. Requirements

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Information Technology, Business or Life Science.
• Interest in chemistry, biology, or related lab sciences
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures
• Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts
• Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision
• Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Preferred candidates are rising juniors and seniors (Dec 2027 through June 2029 graduation) who are currently enrolled in a relevant degree program; however, all current students pursuing related studies are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the CLS Full Lab IT Audit, in support of the Indianapolis Lab move project.
