Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate from a 2 or 4-year accredited college with GIS experience
• Able to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
• Strong writing and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience using database software

Responsibilities

• Supporting implementation of Safe Routes to School program
• Collection of data, ongoing communication, and public outreach with schools, families, and children (K-12)
• Obtaining and geocoding crash report information from the Police Department
• Creating GIS transportation-related mapping
• Field data collection and / monitoring
• Administrative support
• Assisting other divisions within GDOT
