About The Position

Our 2027 Human Resources Internship offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic hospitality environment while learning from experienced HR professionals. This internship is designed for students who are eager to learn, grow, build meaningful connections, and gain real-world experience that will prepare them for a successful career in Human Resources and Hospitality.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related degree program preferred.
• Strong interest in hotel operations, hospitality leadership, guest service, and career growth within the hotel industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Professional demeanor with a positive and service-oriented attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the property for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel, customer service, retail, or campus leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR team with day-to-day Human Resources operations and administrative tasks.
• Assist with recruitment, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding activities.
• Help maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
• Partner with hotel leadership and HR teams to support employee needs and initiatives.
• Gain exposure to key HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
• Demonstrate a warm, professional, and service-focused attitude with guests, associates, and leadership.
• Follow all hotel policies, brand standards, safety procedures, confidentiality expectations, and grooming standards.
• Learn and contribute in a fast-paced hospitality environment while developing valuable professional skills.
